Bottle Caps & Closures

Plastic screw caps and closures for bottles and jars, from 28 mm and 38 mm necks to wide-mouth jars: tamper-evident, flip-top and child-resistant options, with or without liners. Tell us your bottle, product and quantity. We research China-based suppliers, coordinate samples and help you compare them.

SAQVORO is an independent China sourcing coordinator, not a manufacturer. Specifications, documents and terms are confirmed with candidate suppliers.

Common cap types

Bottles and jars for beverages, food, sauces, supplements, personal care and household products.

Plain screw caps

Continuous-thread caps for bottles and jars. The most common choice, available with or without a liner.

Tamper-evident caps

A breakaway band shows whether the bottle has been opened. Common on beverages, edible oils and sauces.

Flip-top and disc-top caps

Dispensing closures for sauces, shampoos and liquids that are poured or squeezed. Orifice size matters.

Child-resistant caps

Push-and-turn closures for household chemicals and other products where your market requires them.

Neck finishes, sizes and materials

Common neck sizes
20, 24, 28, 38, 53, 63 and 89 mm. 28 mm and 38 mm are the most requested.
Neck finishes
e.g. 24/410, 28/410, 38/400 for bottles and jars; PCO 1881 and similar for beverage PET.
Cap materials
Mostly PP or HDPE. Metal lug caps are discussed for glass jars.
Liners
Induction seal liner, foam liner or no liner, depending on the product and seal needed.

Fit is tested, not assumed

Two caps with the same size label can still fit differently. Thread, sealing surface, liner and torque all affect the result, so we recommend sample tests on your own bottles and product before any order.

How SAQVORO helps

Cap suppliers usually quote by neck finish, material, liner and quantity. We help compare cap samples, thread fit, liner options, documents, MOQ and lead times, so you can decide with the same information from each candidate supplier.

01

Requirement review

We review your neck finish, bottle, product and quantity, and list anything still to confirm.

02

Supplier research

We look for China-based cap suppliers and review the company and product information they publish.

03

Sample coordination

We coordinate cap samples so you can test fit, torque and sealing on your own bottles and product.

04

Verification

We request business licences, specifications and compliance documents, and check that they match the supplier and the product quoted.

05

Follow-up

After you choose a supplier, we help follow up on production, packing and shipping within the agreed scope.

What to send us

  1. Neck finish, e.g. 28/410, 38/400 or a PCO 1881 beverage neck. A bottle sample or neck drawing helps most.
  2. Cap type: plain screw cap, tamper-evident, flip-top, disc-top, child-resistant or other.
  3. Bottle material and the product filled, including oils, alcohol, solvents or hot filling.
  4. Liner or seal needed: induction seal liner, foam liner, none, or not sure.
  5. Colour, quantity per order and expected annual use.

Not sure about some details? Send what you know. We can clarify the rest together.

What to compare in supplier proposals

  • Compare thread fit and sealing on your own bottles using samples from each supplier, not drawings alone.
  • Ask which liner or seal option each quote includes, such as an induction seal liner, foam liner or no liner.
  • Compare MOQ, colour matching, lead time, packing and the documents available for your product.

Documents and terms

  • FDA / EU 10/2011 compliance documents can be provided on request, subject to the factory’s own documentation.
  • Warranty and after-sales are provided by the factory.
  • The contracting parties, payment recipient and payment arrangements are confirmed in writing before you place any order.
  • Initial requirement review and basic supplier research are free. Our service fee depends on project scope and is agreed in writing before you place any order.

Matching caps to existing bottles

Send a bottle sample or neck drawing. Thread finish, neck diameter and the sealing surface decide which caps fit, so we ask suppliers to test samples on your bottle.

Caps with liners fitted

If you also need induction seal liners or foam liners, tell us. Some suppliers fit liners before shipping, which saves a step on your line.

New brand or new pack

Not sure which closure suits your product yet? Share the product, bottle and how customers will use it. We collect options and samples from candidate suppliers to compare.

Bottle caps FAQ

Do you manufacture bottle caps?

No. SAQVORO is an independent China sourcing coordinator. We are not a manufacturer and we do not represent any supplier. We research and compare candidate cap suppliers for your requirement.

What does 28/410 or 38/400 mean?

The first number is the neck diameter in millimetres; the second is the thread finish style. A cap must match both. Beverage bottles often use other standards, such as PCO 1881, so a bottle sample or drawing is the safest reference.

Which cap material should I choose?

Most plastic caps are PP or HDPE. The right choice depends on your product, bottle and cap type. Test samples with your own product, especially for oils, alcohol, solvents or hot filling.

Can caps come with induction seal liners fitted?

Many candidate suppliers can supply caps with liners fitted. Tell us the liner type you need, or see our induction seal liners guide. Fit and seal results should be tested on your bottles.

What compliance documents are available?

FDA / EU 10/2011 compliance documents can be provided on request, subject to the factory’s own documentation. We check that the documents match the supplier and product quoted.

Who provides warranty, and how is payment arranged?

Warranty and after-sales are provided by the factory. The contracting parties, payment recipient and payment arrangements are confirmed in writing before you place any order.
